Prezeed ("we", "our", or "the service") is a search tool that helps founders in India discover venture capital knowledge. This policy explains what data we collect when you use prezeed.com, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

  • Search queries — the text you type into the search bar. We store these to improve search quality and understand what founders are looking for. Queries are not linked to your identity unless you are signed in.
  • Usage analytics — page views, session duration, device type, and browser via Google Analytics 4. This data is aggregated and anonymised.
  • Account information — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address via Firebase Authentication. We use this solely to identify your session.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect payment information.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not track you across other websites.
  • We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Google.

How We Use Your Data

  • To return relevant search results for your queries.
  • To understand which topics founders search for, so we can improve coverage.
  • To measure overall usage and performance of the service.

Data Retention

Search query logs are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default settings (up to 14 months). Account data is retained while your account is active.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and port your data.

Children

Prezeed is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
